oh wow

my lack of techie brain just thought I was uploading new kid pics for the last twenty minutes. Um, forgot to hit the upload key. Okay, so let's blog while we wait.

EDIT OUT:
too much info that I can not share because of privacy laws...

HELLO VITAMIN D!!!
The sun here is tremendous! I got a sunburn in March. Sweet. We love going to the YMCA, whice had an indoor pool that lost the big plastic bubble and is now a BEAUTIFUL outdoor pool. N&A both LOVE it. N can swim around in the kiddie vest all by himself. We have to buy one for Autumn, who equally loves it and tries to constantly dive under water face first. I'm sorry gal, it ain't happening. IDK how those mamas let their newborns swim under water. When you're actually in the pool, with an ALMOST ONE YEAR OLD, the water and lungs thing seems a little too risky for me.

SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY:
I now find myself saying ya'll. WHAT??!! It just makes sense to say and "you guys" sounds so weird in my brain. I wonder what kind of accent I've picked up since being here. I guess I'll find out when we take a trip home in two weeks.

SAD NEWS:
We were preg with number three (due in Oct.) and I miscarried today. I decided to mention it b/c once again, God is giving me this miraculous peace about it. Don't get me wrong, I cried my eyes OUT today. I'm sure I will again and again too. But there is peace. Just like with the Noah stuff. The coolest part is right before it happened, I kept having these cool praise songs in my mind and singing them. Since "God inhabits the praise of His people," I KNOW WITH BLESSED ASSURANCE that our little baby was wrapped in His mighty peaceful arms during the trauma.

GLAD NEWS:
We are coming to Michigan for five days in two weeks. I am so glad and can't wait to show off the big kids to our relatives. My sis is getting married to a man who loves the Lord and I am so excited. Maybe we will even get to see Debra, who was exactly one week behind us in the pregnancy. (note to Debra: you do not need to go to Iowa to celebrate graduating from grad school-stay and eat cookies and laugh with ME instead). I hope we get to take a few extra days of PTO time considering the "SAD NEWS." We can use some biological family loving!!!

PICTURE TIME(I hope): Aww man, the pics are taking wayyyyy too long. Maybe I can get it to work better tomorrow. Good night for now
